Emails

DroneMobile app subscriptions make up a significant portion of Firstech’s annual revenue. Without the ability to renew a monthly subscription within the app, the DroneMobile brand relied heavily on email marketing as its primary tool to promote sales to over 200,000 active users.

For three years, I spearheaded the promotion of the DroneMobile app through email marketing. I strategized and managed these promotions from start to finish, which included:

  • Determining a sale theme

  • Creating and editing promotional graphics

  • Copywriting

  • Designing mass emails

  • Generating digital ads

  • Scheduling targeted follow-up emails

  • Publishing social media posts

As a result, my experience, execution, and data-backed approach to email marketing, doubled subscription conversions and drove over $2M in revenue over the nine DroneMobile promotions that I led in 2023—breaking company sale records.

Digital Advertising

Below is a collection of graphics that I used to generate digital ads at the time of each promotion. Each of these graphics were optimized for use throughout multiple channels with numerous aspect ratios for social media, display ads, and email banners.

In addition to creating each promotional ad campaign on our business manager page, I also crafted dynamic pay-per-click (PPC) ads with varying copy. This ensured that the most relevant and effective ads were served, while optimizing our campaign budget.

A/B Testing

With DroneMobile promos typically lasting a week, I would send out three to four alternate versions of mass emails (to over 100,000 recipients) during the duration of the sale. I targeted and ran A/B and multivariate tests to narrow down the best content, subject lines, send times, button placements, or a combination of these variables.

By averaging over 40% in open rates and significantly improving click rates, my tested and refined approach to email marketing and digital advertising contributed to over 13,876 subscription conversions in 2023—more than doubling the previous year’s record. These results directly contributed to the growth and success of the DroneMobile brand and Firstech’s annual profits.
